Tutoring Program
We provide tutoring to enhance academic support. Our tutors provide expertise, experience, and encouragement. We do not provide answers, but encourage problem solving, to get answers. The challenge is to create an environment where the student can focus on assignments and realize the importance of studying & paying attention in class.
Truancy/G.E.D Preparation
We have realized success with truancy prevention by benchmarking successful truancy programs throughout the United States. Our combined approach is multifaceted and often unique to each child, demographic or school, based on the pervasiveness and commonalities of the issues.
Adscondence
These services are designed to locate missing children, contact the appropriate authorities, and maintain a continued presence until the authorities arrive in order to ensure the safe return of that child in coordination with the local authorities.
G.E.D. Preparation Course
YMAP prepares students to take the General Educational Development (GED) Test. This exam attempts to determine whether an individual has attained standard high school level academic skills. Our instructors are not only highly educated professionals who are proficient in all of the subject areas tested, but they are familiar with the instructional methods that prove most effective for successfully passing the GED exam.
